WyoTech Daytona

WyoTech's Daytona Beach campus specializes in training students for careers in the exciting motorcycle and marine industries. Located in America's motorcycling capital, WyoTech in Daytona Beach can allow students to concentrate on bikes from Asia, Europe and America's own Harley-Davidson. Students can also prepare for careers working with power systems for watercraft ranging from speedboats to jet skis.


WyoTech's Daytona Beach campus specializes in training students for careers in the exciting motorcycle and marine industries. Home of NASCAR and the Grand American Road Racing Association, as well as Bike Week and Biketoberfest, Daytona Beach is the perfect setting for studying the art and science of Motorcycle Technology. WyoTech's Motorcycle Technology program covers mainly all aspects of motorcycle system diagnosis, maintenance and repair, plus allows students to focus their studies on one of these specialties:

  • Asian Specialty Program
  • European Specialty Program
  • Harley-Davidson Specialty Program
  • Off-Road Power Specialty Program

If watercraft are more your speed, WyoTech in Daytona Beach also offers a Marine Specialist career education program that can prepare you to work on a wide variety of watercraft. The program also offers a number of specialty programs, including Advanced Marine and Off-Road Power.

Founded in 1972 as American Motorcycle Institute, WyoTech's Daytona Beach campus boasts 100,000 square feet of shop and classroom space. Instructors are all industry professionals eager to help their students succeed. The campus offers Career Services for graduates and assistance for out-of-town students in need of temporary local housing.

The Official Technical School of Orange County Choppers

In 2011, WyoTech was named the "Official Technical School of Orange County Choppers." Orange County Choppers (OCC) is the nationally renowned maker of custom-made motorcycles, as featured on Discovery Channel's "American Choppers" television series. The WyoTech-OCC partnership speaks to the reputation WyoTech's Motorcycle Technology program has gained in the country's biking community.

Motorcycle Technology

The Motorcycle Technology program teaches the skills required to specialize in motorcycle service and repair, including suspensions, brake systems, engines, fundamentals of electricity, electrical systems, fuel systems and service. Program graduates can seek entry-level technician positions in the motorcycle industry.

Asian Motorcycle Technology

The Motorcycle Technology program teaches the skills required to specialize in motorcycle service and repair, including suspensions, brake systems, engines, fundamentals of electricity, electrical systems, fuel systems and service. Program graduates can seek entry-level technician positions in the motorcycle industry.

European Motorcycle Technology

The Asian Motorcycle concentration can be taken along with Motorcycle Technology career training to learn how to professionally diagnose, service and repair motorcycles by leading Asian manufacturers such as Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha.

Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Technology

The Harley-Davidson concentration allows WyoTech students who are studying Motorcycle Technology to focus their training on H-D motorbikes, including how to diagnose, service and repair these legendary machines.

Off-Road Power Motorcycle Technology

Students in the Off-Road Power Concentration learn mechanical ATV and personal watercraft system testing, diagnosis and repair, as well as ATV fuel and electrical issues and complete snowmobile repair and maintenance.

Marine Specialist

Careers in the marine industry can be the perfect destination for trained technicians who want to work on propulsion systems, inboard engines, stern drive systems and outboard marine engines. The Marine Specialist program can give you hands-on training inboard and stern-drive systems, gasoline inboard engines, diesel engines and power generation, marine electrical systems, fuel systems, outboard engine propulsion systems and much more.
